COMPANY PROFILE
Established in 1960, TW Engineering Co. Ltd is capable of undertaking a variety of batch production milling and turning work with CNC machining facilities.
The company then started to undertake a contract management service for the procurement and supply of, predominantly, hand tools to a major customer.
Subsequently we expanded and refined this service to include a much wider variety of products as well as extending the provision of this service to other customers.
TW uses a bespoke computer database tailored to individual customer's needs to help manage the sourcing and supply of products.
Over the years we have obtained the experience and skills required to effectively manage procurement contracts on behalf of customers and often it has been possible to secure significant cost savings by way of supplier negotiation or exploring the opportunities of alternative product sourcing.
More recently additional warehousing has been built to provide sufficient space to accommodate higher stock levels. This has helped enable TW Engineering to offer customers the opportunity to factor an increasing number of products on their behalf, and provide the necessary logistical input to ensure that supplies can be made on demand
Accreditation to BSI 5750 part 2 (now ISO 9002) was achieved in April 1988. Also we were recognised as meeting the national standard for effective Investment in People in April 1998.
Unusually, for an engineering company, there is a wood working shop on site.
